The EPFL uses VMware products in several IT services over the years. The volume of used licenses acquired through the years in transactional ways became large enough to engage a discussion with VMware in order to optimize them.
The content and the duration of the ELA has been set and now the contractualization must be realized through an approved VMware reseller.
