The main supply itmes in this sub-component A1 are:
- 4 sets of live parts for Francis turbines, approximately 18 m3/s under 68.8 mWC
- Complete set of metal-enclosed 10.5 kV switchgear
- 2 transformers, 110 / 10.5 kV, minimum 26 MVA
- Control system for powerhouse and switchyard
- Complete set of medium-voltage, low voltage and control cables
- Cooling water system, drainage and dewatering
- SCADA
- Minor items
Note 1: turbine governors were replaced in 2008 and must be kept.
Note 2: for optional use of project funds in trying to meet project aims in terms of power upgrade, the total plant power after rehabilitations should be finalized upon award of contract.
The main services in this sub-component A1 are:
- Execution design of new equipment and interface parts
- Extended maintenance of 4 inlet valves, butterfly type, 1.8 m diameter
- Dismantling of old equipment
Crack detection and repair on turbine fixed parts
- Erection and commissioning of new equipment
- Training of operation and maintenance staff in Russian languages
