Description
In order to manage its own portfolio (electricity, gas), it is crucial for Stadtwerk Winterthur to procure energy efficiently, transparently and in terms of quality using the best available instruments and options. These requirements are met by an energy trading platform, as trading there can be standardized, anonymized, in real time and liquid at all times due to the large number of market participants. The requirements profile for such a trading platform through which Stadtwerk Winterthur intends to process electricity transactions is set out in detail in the RFI Document.
